Four time Academy Award nominee George Casey, President of Graphic Films Corp.,has specialized for more than 28 years in directing, writing and producing motion picturesin IMAX 70mm and other giant screen formats. Mr. Casey’s IMAX films have been experienced by tens of millions of viewers on giant screens throughout the world. His films include ‘AFRICA; The Serengeti’, ‘ALASKA; Spirit of the Wild’,‘Forces of Nature’, ‘Ring of Fire‘, ‘Amazing Journeys’, ‘The Great Barrier Reef’,‘Genesis’, ‘Darwin on the Galapagos’ and ‘The Eruption of Mount St. Helens’. ‘Forces of Nature’ was selected as the best giant screen film of 2005 by the Giant Screen Theater Association. 'ALASKA; Spirit of the Wild' and 'The Eruption of Mount St. Helens' were nominated for Academy Awards by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In the course of these productions, Casey directed crews on location throughout the world, filming on every major continent except Antarctica. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Masters degree in Journalism. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Kappa Tau Alpha, and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He lives in San Diego, California with his wife, Ellen. They are the parents of three children, all of whom have worked on large screen films.
